Cross-platform healthcare communication suite for clinicians and patients
The Company
This small but focused team was building the future of real-time clinical communication: a cross-platform suite spanning iOS, Android, and mobile web that allowed physicians, assistants, and admins to discuss, consult, transfer, and manage patients in one place. As the principal designer and the only designer on the team, I owned the full product experience across all three platforms, built the design system from scratch, and put design operations and process in place for the team to grow with. Everything was built in direct collaboration with the engineering team, from wireframes to production.
The Work
Sole designer on a cross-platform healthcare communication suite, designing both the clinician-facing and patient-facing sides of a dual-sided platform from the ground up.
Established design practice from scratch in a developer-led organization: introduced UX process, user research programs, and A/B testing where none previously existed. Operated within HIPAA compliance requirements across both user populations.
